Applications are now open for the Bosun Tijani Foundation Gen AI Fellowship Programme, a six-month intensive training accelerator designed to support aspiring AI developers and engineers.

The programme provides hands-on technical training, real-world project execution, and direct access to career opportunities to help participants master artificial intelligence and build scalable solutions.

Organised by the Bosun Tijani Foundation, the initiative targets tech talent eager to integrate the latest LLM and AI technologies into real-world applications.

What selected fellows of Tijani Foundation Gen AI Programme will recieve

Selected fellows will receive structured support aimed at strengthening their technical capabilities and preparing them for the global tech ecosystem.

Expert Mentorship:  Participants will receive hands-on training and guidance from expert mentors and industry leaders in the AI space.

Career & Startup Readiness: The programme will provide direct opportunities for internships, full-time jobs, and specialized startup support.

Certificate of Completion: Fellows who completed the programmer would receive an official certificate recognized by industry partners

Financial Backing:  Fellows will receive a ₦50,000 monthly stipend to support them throughout the programme (subject to full attendance and learning progression).

 

Focus Sectors

The programme offers two distinct tracks tailored to specific career goals:

AI Engineering Track:

Fellows who chose AI Engineering Track will learn;

  • Machine Learning & Model Finetuning
  • MLOps & Infrastructure
  • Agentic RAG systems
  • Cloud Deployment (SageMaker, Docker, etc.)
  • AI Security & Model Optimization

AI Application Track:

Fellows who chose AI Application Track will learn;

  • Next.js & modern web frameworks
  • AI API Integration (OpenAI, Claude, etc.)
  • React & component-based development
  • Product Design & UX for AI tools
  • Backend Integration & Databases

 

Eligibility
Applicants should meet the following criteria:

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years and above.

Availability: Must be able to attend in-person training in Abeokuta, 5 days a week for 6 months.

Passion & Curiosity: Must be curious about Artificial Intelligence and eager to build real-world solutions.

 

Programme Timeline

Application Opens: July 20

Application Deadline: July 31

Selection Process: August 03-15, 2026
