Applications are now open for the Codar Tech Scholarship, an initiative designed to train and empower the next generation of African tech talent by removing financial barriers to quality education.

With a total fund of ₦50,000,000 dedicated to supporting tuition, the scholarship will select 100 candidates from across the continent. The programme is tailored for individuals ready to build a career in the technology industry but who require financial assistance to access premium training.

Backed by Codar Tech Africa, a tech training institute, the initiative targets beginners, active students, and career switchers looking to acquire high-demand digital skills and connect with a pan-African professional network.

What selected candidates of Codar Tech Scholarship would receive


Selected scholars will receive structured support aimed at equipping them with practical technical skills and preparing them for the global tech job market.

Industry-Standard Curriculum: Participants will undergo rigorous training focused on highly sought-after technical skills relevant to today’s digital economy.

Expert Mentorship: Scholars will receive guidance and mentorship from experienced industry professionals to navigate their career paths.

Pan-African Peer Network: The programme provides access to a diverse community of peers across Africa, fostering collaboration and future networking opportunities.

 

Eligibility

The scholarship is open to any African applicant who meets the following criteria:

  • Has a strong passion for technology and a clear desire to build a career in the industry.
  • Is a beginner, current student, or professional looking to switch careers into tech.
  • Can demonstrate a need for financial support to access quality technical training.
  • Is fully committed to completing the entire duration of the training programme.
